Defining moments of Chipper Jones’ Hall of Fame career

There was only one place Chipper Jones’ baseball story could end: Cooperstown.

The Braves icon, who spent his entire 19-year career in Atlanta, along the way was an eight-time All-Star, two-time Silver Slugger Award winner, the 1999 National League MVP and a batting champ in 2008.

Jones is expected to join his former teammates — pitchers Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux and John Smoltz — his manager, Bobby Cox, and general manager, John Schuerholz, with Wednesday’s announcement of the Baseball Hall of Fame’s Class of 2018.
