– Hey, guys. Welcome to Motte’s Minute. I’m Daryl Motte. And we are here to celebrate the three being back in victory lane.
It all starts with this great burnout. Check it out. Austin Dillon celebrating in epic style. And thanks to a fan’s tweet, we’re able to see this aerial shot. Check out the number three. Intentional or not, what a great tribute this was to the man that made that car famous.
And check out this scene from victory lane thanks to brother Ty Dillion. He posted this to his Instagram. Looks like quite a party. Where’s my invite, boys?
And how cool is this? Immediately after on Twitter, everybody was chiming in, wishin Austin well. We even had Charlie Daniels, Bryce Harper, just to name a few. There was a lot of tweets pouring in. Check this out. Even racing legend Mario Andretti got in on the action.
Now, you got to appreciate the history behind the incredible finish. Joey Logano pointing out how cool it must have been for fans to see the three and the 43 car finish one, two at Daytona.
Speaking of the 43, he had one last order of business on the way home, stopping by DEI to take this shot and tweeting, it just felt right to stop by DEI on the way home, number three, hashtag legends never die. Classy move, Bubba.
But the talk of Twitter certainly was the move that decided it all for Austin Dillon. We asked our fans on Twitter, what did you think, hard racing or dirty race move. And 64% of you said good old hard racing.
Look, at my minute’s up. Back to you guys.
