NHL DFS for February 10: Best DraftKings, FanDuel daily fantasy hockey picks

Before you enter a daily fantasy hockey tournament for NHL action on Saturday, February 10, you need to hear what professional DFS player Mike McClure has to say. McClure has more than $1 million in career DFS winnings and is off to a red-hot start this season, already cashing multiple tournament and cash game rosters.

He has been able to do all that thanks to some spot-on picks.

On Friday, McClure locked in left wing Alexander Radulov for $6,800 on FanDuel. The result: Radulov put four shots on net and had an assist, returning a strong total of 19.2 points on FanDuel — one of his best DFS performances on the season.

Anybody who had him in their lineup was well on their way to a winning NHL DFS night.

Now McClure has exhaustively studied matchups, injuries, and projected lineups for Saturday night and locked in his optimal NHL DFS lineups. He’s sharing them over at SportsLine.

One player McClure absolutely loves: San Jose Sharks defenseman Brent Burns, who is $7,500 on FanDuel and $7,400 on DraftKings.

Burns has gone over 25 points on FanDuel twice in the last three games and is coming off an incredible performance against the Golden Knights where he recorded five shots and three assists.

He get a favorable matchup on Saturday against an Edmonton Oilers squad that is 26th in the NHL in scoring defense, allowing over 3.2 goals per game. There should be plenty of opportunities for Burns to pay off his price tag.

If you roster Burns, you’ll have plenty of room to add a huge star like Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews, who is $8,000 on FanDuel and $7,500 on DraftKings.

Matthews, one of the league’s top up-and-coming players, has a combined eight shots, two goals and an assist in his last two contests. On Saturday, he gets a dream matchup against an Ottawa team that has the third-worst scoring defense in the NHL, so he has mammoth upside.

Lock him in as one of the top overall plays on Saturday’s NHL slate.

McClure is also targeting a value goalie who is coming off a dominant performance and is set to shut down his opponent once again. Picks like these could be the difference between winning your cash games and tournaments or going home with nothing
