The Park Avenue Tennis Club in Huntington has been sold for $3.2 million.

The 30,000-square-foot facility, which has four indoor tennis courts, had been operated by Michael and Deborah Bustamante for 25 years. The 2.5-acre property, at 100 Partridge Lane, was sold to Huntington residents Karen and Phil Cadorette of Peyton Capital Partners LLC.

The couple plans to continue running the property as a tennis facility.

“The previous owners had done such a great job that it was a very smooth transition for us,” said Karen Cadorette, who worked at and managed a neighboring tennis facility for 36 years. Cadorette said she and her husband — who started playing tennis at the Park Avenue club in high school — plan to renovate the lobby, lighting system and HVAC system.

“It just seemed to be a perfect fit,” she said of the timing.

Gary Pezza, a broker with NAI Long Island who represented both the buyer and seller in the deal, said the previous owners were retiring from the business and had been approached about turning the facility into lacrosse or soccer fields, or rezoning the property for a potential assisted-living developer.
