PITTSBURGH — Not many NFL stars have Drake on speed dial, but Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Antonio Brown’s got it like that.
Brown, who’s become one of the game’s most marketable stars, makes a cameo in Drake’s new video for “God’s Plan,” a touching six-minute clip showing the rapper giving away nearly $1 million in the Miami area.
Brown, who grew up in Miami, is seen dancing and posing alongside Drake in an area mall (part of a $10,000 shopping spree for a surprised fan).
A member of Brown’s camp said this cameo wasn’t prearranged. Brown scheduled it on his own. From lifting weights with The Rock to dozens of daily Snapchat videos to mega-rap-star features, Brown’s offseasons are never short on memories.
Brown chimed in on the video from his Twitter page, along with behind-the-scenes footage.
Left this day feeling humbled and inspired. @Drake, keep being a blessing to those around you ?? #GodsPlan video is here and it’s worth your guys time. Go check it out on @Drake‘s page pic.twitter.com/OIfIFuvg3j

Brown will be busy training in South Florida, and he won’t be dancing for long. He’ll be getting open. Brown told ESPN at the Pro Bowl that he’s attacking his offseason with preservation of his receiver credentials in mind.
“They are all coming. Everyone wants my spot,” said Brown, who put together an MVP campaign with 101 catches for 1,533 yards and nine touchdowns before a Week 15 calf injury. “That’s the pressure of being at the top. Everybody wants to be where you’re at. That’s why I have to continue to work, continue to get better to keep that level up.”
