LATROBE, Pa. — Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown have connected nearly 700 times on an NFL field, and perhaps they want to keep that connection going for decades after they are done playing.
The families of Roethlisberger and Brown got together after Sunday’s training camp practice at Saint Vincent College, and the cuteness commenced as Roethlisberger’s oldest son, Ben Jr., threw a pass to Brown’s son Auto.
The future.

“Now throw it up to him, throw it to him,” Roethlisberger is overheard saying to his son, with Auto streaking downfield. Ben Jr. hit him in stride with a mini-football from about 8 yards out.
Roethlisberger said at his football camp in June that his son has a pretty good arm. The quarterback and receiver have chemistry on the field but spend time off it, too. They will talk about family life, and Brown often goes to Roethlisberger for advice.
“We have a pretty special connection,” Roethlisberger said.
