Oleksandr Usyk and Murat Gassiev will collide in the World Boxing Super Series cruiserweight final on Saturday (July 21) at the Olympic Stadium, Moscow, Russia, with the WBA, IBF, WBC and WBO cruiserweight world championships on the line, along with the new Muhammed Ali trophy.

Oleksandr Usyk vs Murat Gassiev

With all four cruiserweight world titles on the line and the Muhammed Ali trophy at stake it’s a battle between two undefeated fighters, Usyk (14-0, 11 KOs) and Gassiev (26-0, 19 KOs). Usyk beat German Marco Huck and Latvian Mairis Briedis to book his spot in the final claiming the WBO and WBC titles on the way, while Gassiev triumphed over Pole Krzysztof Włodarczyk and Cuban Yunier Dorticos adding the WBA title to his IBF strap.

Fedor Chudinov vs Nadjib Mohammedi – WBA International super-middleweight title

Chudinov (17-2, 12 KOs) is a former WBA world title challenger, who lost to current holder George Groves in May 2017. The Russian also holds wins over German Felix Sturm and Brit Frank Buglioni. Mohammedi (40-5, 23 KOs) is also a former world title challenger having lost to light-heavyweight world champion Sergey Kovalev in July 2015, the experienced Frenchman, who lost to Nathan Cleverly in December 2010, has previously held the EBU light-heavyweight title.

Cecilia Braekhus vs Inna Sagaydakovskaya – WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO female welterweight titles

Unified welterweight champion Braekhus (33–0, 9 KOs) will make the sixth defence of all her titles against Russian Sagaydakovskaya (7-0, 3 KOs). Braekhus first captured world titles in March 2009 when she defeated Dane Vinni Skovgaard for the WBA and WBC straps.

Andrey Sirotkin vs Vladimir Shishkin – WBA Intercontinental super-middleweight Title

Russian Sirotkin (15-0, 4 KO’s) captured the title in November 2017 stopping Ricardo Mayorga and will make the second defence of the belt against countrymen Shishkin (6-0, 3 KO’s) .

Mairis Briedis vs Brandon Deslaurier cruiserweight

Breidis competes for the first time since losing his WBO cruiserweight world title to Usky in the WBSS semi-final back in January. In a closely fought majority decision lose, Briedis may have lost his world title but the Latvian’s stock was definitely boosted, and a return to world title action could be imminent.
