Well, we’ve put together a family guide which will give you an idea of exactly what to expect next summer!
ABOUT CWC19
Next year’s ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be held in England and Wales for the first time in 20 years.
The most successful team in the tournament’s history is Australia, who have claimed the title five times, including the most recent edition in 2015, beating their trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand in the final.
At next year’s Cricket World Cup there will be ten teams, who will take part in a round-robin group stage. The top four teams from this will proceed to the semi-finals, with the winners of those meeting in the final at Lord’s.

#CWC19 provides a great value day out for all the family, as children can attend all group matches for just £6, while a family of four can attend selected group games for just £44!
Children who are aged two or under may attend #CWC19 games free of charge – so long as they don’t occupy a seat.

Our price structure for this tournament, which we consulted on widely and used external experts, means that for a lot of the games adult tickets will start at just £40!
What’s more, if families wish to, they can sit in alcohol-free zones at selected venues.
ACTIVITIES
Before, during and after the match, there will be plenty of activities in and around the stadium, varying from live entertainment, have-a-go challenges for all the family and kids’ lanyards, as well as many different activations around the ground.

What is Cricket – Run-Scoring

Ever wondered what all of the different signals that an umpire makes mean when they are being used during a match? Look no further as we explain all of the most frequently used signals from the umpires right around the world of cricket.
FOOD
At #CWC19 we’ll have a variety of food and drink outlets accessible inside the venue. There will be food zones at all venues which will be able to cater for a range of dietary requirements.

WHAT TO KNOW
Most #CWC19 matches will start at 10:30am and end early evening – around 6:30pm – 7pm.
However, if you fancy watching a bit of cricket under the floodlights, then why not try a day/night game? Most of these are at the weekend and start at 1:30pm, with an expected finish of around 9:30pm.
On the day of the game, gates will open two hours before the start of the match. There will be comprehensive security checks at all venues, so please only bring essential items with you.

CRICKET IN ENGLAND – A GREAT DAY OUT!
Cricket is a great day out, but don’t just take our word for it!
Last summer, the ICC Women’s World Cup and the ICC Champions Trophy were held across England and Wales – with 98% feeling the Women’s World Cup was a safe environment for their kids, good value for money, as well as being a fun and engaging experience.
