Bjorn Borg rarely releases interviews as he is never on the ATP Tour as coach or TV expert, basically. The 11-time Grand Slam champion sas working as Team Europe captain at the Laver Cup last week in Chicago and he was asked if he would change something about his career.
‘I don’t think I would change, actually, anything’, Borg said. ‘I had a great career. It was a lot of fun. I did what I wanted to do to play tennis, to travel around the world. Tennis gave me a lot. I was very happy.
I mean, I retired when I was young, but I was happy doing that, too. That was not a major problem for me. But to be around these guys, to be part of Laver Cup, it’s a great thing for me. To spend a week with these great players, they are very professional.
It’s a lot of fun for me. I mean, you learn a lot. I mean, it’s a different generation, different times’. ALSO READ: Sponsors do not affect my schedule, says Roger Federer .
