Graeme Souness this evening aimed his latest jibe at Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, in the aftermath of the Red Devils’ victory over Burnley.
Burnley vs Manchester United
United travelled to Turf Moor for their 4th Premier League outing of the season this afternoon.
Jose Mourinho’s men were no doubt desperate to get back to winning ways ahead of the international break, after falling to consecutive defeats at the hands of Brighton and Tottenham in their last two fixtures.
Burnley, meanwhile, were on a 2-game losing streak of their own coming into today’s clash.
Lukaku the match-winner
In the end, United’s class proved far too much for their hosts this evening, with the Red Devils having emerged with a comfortable 2-0 win.
Romelu Lukaku bagged both of the goals on the day, first from a superb Alexis Sanchez cross in the 27th-minute, and then following a scramble in the Burnley box just before the interval.

Souness vs Pogba
The aftermath of the clash, as is always the case, has since seen United’s performance under the microscope from fans and pundits alike.
In truth, Jose Mourinho’s men looked much-improved on their recent showings, and remained in control throughout the 90 minutes.
The likes of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez impressed, but Paul Pogba was again singled out for criticism by some.
And, in news that will come as a surprise to no one, one of those to have taken aim at Pogba was Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness.
Former Liverpool star Souness has been the French midfielder’s most high-profile detractor for some time now, with the Scot having this evening brought Pogba’s name into the discussion out of the blue, when discussing United’s win over Burnley on Sky Sports:
