There have been many compelling arguments for why Jacob deGrom deserves the National League Cy Young Award. He led all of baseball (by a lot) with a 1.70 ERA, he allowed a miniscule 0.4 HR per 9 IP, he gave up three or fewer runs in all but one of his 32 starts, he eats hamburgers and french fries for every meal.
