Tragic news confirmed
Leicester City have confirmed their Chairman was one of five people killed.
In utterly tragic news, the club released a statement saying Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha had lost his life.
It was the news people had been dreading, and the news no one wanted to hear.
The 61-year-old was known to football fans as the man who revitalised a club and took them to the top of English football.
To those outside football, the Thai business man was known for owning the King Power Duty Free stores.

In an age where so many club owners aren’t even liked by fans, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was beloved by Leicester City fans.
It’s not long since the club shocked the world and won the Premier League.
It was a story of dreams. This is quite simply a nightmare.

Leicester’s Premier League title win in 2016, an event actually backed at 5000-1 with bookmakers, was the unlikeliest (single) event (in betting terms) ever to come to fruition, in any genre, in any country, ever.
