NHL DFS: Best DraftKings, FanDuel daily fantasy hockey picks for October 10

With three more games of NHL action set for Wednesday night, the 2018-19 NHL season continues to pick up steam. Capitals superstar Alex Ovechkin will take on Golden Knights goalie Marc-Andre Fleury in a rematch of last year’s Stanley Cup Finals and the night’s premier matchup. However, with limited options available while selecting NHL DFS lineups on FanDuel and DraftKings, you’ll want to hear what DFS professional Mike McClure before making any NHL DFS picks for either tournaments or cash games. McClure is a DFS expert with nearly $2 million in career earnings and his optimal lineups have helped DFS players to big paydays.

McClure is also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of each game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best NHL DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NHL DFS player.

On Tuesday, McClure recommended Stars winger Alexander Radulov on FanDuel. The result? Radulov went off with a goal and two assists — returning 36 points and nearly 6x value for owners.

On Wednesday, McClure is all over Senators center Matt Duchene at $5,600 on FanDuel and $5,200 on DraftKings.

Duchene has a couple of assists in his first three games this season, but playing on the Ottawa top line and top power-play unit, he should have opportunities against a Flyers team that has given up 13 goals in the last two games. Duchene also has a history of lighting the lamp against Philadelphia, with seven goals in 13 games against them.

Another pick McClure loves: Flyers winger Wayne Simmonds ($5,500 on FanDuel, $6,000 on DraftKings), who has already scored three goals in three games this season.

Simmonds plays on the third line for Philadelphia, but does play on their to power-play unit, where he has scored 69 of his 144 goals in the last five seasons. Simmonds already has two of his three goals this season on the power play, so when the Senators go to the box, look for Simmonds to turn it on and provide a big return on investment.
