Watford hit with a double suspension

Watford 0 – Bournemouth 4

Bournemouth are up to fifth in the Premier League.

That’s a simply incredible result for Eddie Howe’s men at this stage of the season.

The Cherries have 16 points from eight matches following a 4-0 away win at Watford on Saturday.

After a positive start to the year, Watford have slipped down to 13th in the division.

Josh King stole the headlines on Saturday with a brace at Vicarage Road.

David Brooks opened the scoring for Bournemouth, while Callum Wilson scored the fourth.

Wolves vs Watford

The Premier League is now gearing up for the two week international break.

When the league restarts, Watford’s next match is an away trip to Wolves.

Watford will have significant selection issues for the Wolves game. That’s after two Watford players picked up suspensions in the Bournemouth game.

For the second time this season, Christian Kabasele was sent off for the Hornets.

Kabasele collected his marching orders for two bookable offences.

The first booking came for an elbow on Asmir Begovic.

The second yellow was shown by referee Jon Moss after Kabasele took out King in the box.

Kabasele initially pulled King’s short as the forward raced through, while Kabasele was adjudged to have tripped King in the box.

Kabasele will now be banned for the Wolves game.

While Watford will also be without the dead-ball specialist Jose Holebas for the Wolves trip as well.

Holebas picked up his fifth booking of the season against Bournemouth, meaning he’s also picked up a suspension.

Javi Gracia already had problems at the back as Daryl Janmaat is out with a knee problem.
