NBA news: LeBron James warning, Lakers told to SNUB Kawhi Leonard trade, Kevin Durant | Other | Sport

LeBron James must be respected by fans on his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

That’s the opinion of Cavaliers star George Hill who believes fans will be a******** if they boo the Los Angeles Lakers ace.

LeBron enjoyed a successful spell at the Cavs before exiting for LA in the summer.

“If you boo him, you’re an a*******,” Hill said.

“He just means too much to this city, to this organisation.”

LeBron James should be joined by Bradley Beal at the Los Angeles Lakers, NOT Kawhi Leonard, according to Colin Cowherd.

The NBA pundit said: “The Wizards have decided they’re breaking up John Wall and Bradley Beal. Now nobody wants John Wall.

“That is an untraceable contract. He’s needy,he’s distracted, he’s immature, hard to play with. He’s Westbrook out east.

“But Bradley Beal is Klay Thompson, he is a perfect fit for LeBron James.

“He is young, he’s only 25, he’s a great shooter, he doesn’t need the ball and he’s athletic. Now he’s not as good a defender as Klay but he can play.”

He added: “Bradley Beal is the most undervalued player in the league. He’s never had an elite coach. John Wall is impossible to play with. He’s a super high basketball IQ guy. The only knock on him… the contract. The rest of this year you’ve got to pay him big money, two years after that.

“But all I’m saying is you keep telling me about Anthony Davis.

“You’ve got to wait two years for that unless you’re going to make a huge trade.

“Do you have the pieces to get Anthony Davis, I don’t think you do. What are you going to give somebody for Anthony Davis? You don’t have a star outside of LeBron.

“Kawhi Leonard are you sure he’s going to come? Paul George didn’t.”

Kevin Durant insists his spat with Draymond Green will have no impact on his future at the Golden State Warriors or in the NBA.

“Nah, [it won’t factor],” he told Yahoo Sports.

“Because at the end of the day, I’m just a ballplayer that’s just trying to be in a great environment to play basketball and groom my skills every day.

“And I want to compete on a level that once the game starts, I’m just totally comfortable with my surroundings, with just going out there and being me.”
