Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have tonight been dealt a double-blow on the injury-front.
PSG vs Liverpool
Thomas Tuchel’s men are set to welcome Liverpool to the Parc des Princes next week, for a crucial Champions League group stage clash.
PSG currently sit a point behind joint-group C leaders Napoli and Liverpool, with 2 games remaining.
As such, a defeat for the hosts in the French capital could prove decisive regarding their hopes of advancing to the Champions League’s Last-16.
Neymar/Mbappe concerns
And the task ahead of the Ligue 1 table-toppers next week looks set to be made considerably tougher by developments in a pair of tonight’s international friendly fixtures.
The clashes in question are Brazil vs Cameroon, and France’s matchup with Uruguay.
All of PSG’s first-choice front-3, in the form of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani, featured tonight across these two fixtures.
However, only Cavani has made it out unscathed (thus far).
Neymar lasted just 8 minutes of Brazil’s 1-0 victory over Cameroon, before being forced off with a thigh problem:

Even more worrying for all involved with PSG, though, was the nasty-looking shoulder injury picked up by Kylian Mbappe:

Fans of the Parisian outfit now face an anxious wait for updates on the well-being of their two star men, with both players immediately appearing to be in doubt to be fit for their club’s crunch showdown with Liverpool next Wednesday night.
