Ball dogs put to work at tennis tournament

LONDON (WILX) — Some ball dogs were put to work and on the court at the opening of the Champions Tennis Tournament in London.

The animals helped retrieve stray balls during a doubles match on Thursday.

The three dogs were provided by a charity that trains dogs to help people with disabilities.

Although these dogs were used to retrieving objects such as inhalers and pens, they had to be specially taught to fetch tennis balls.
