Hilarious Mistletoe cam fail during Blazers-Clippers match

The rule states that when two people are standing under a mistletoe, they should kiss. In the NBA game between the Portland Trail Blazers and the LA Clippers, audience members had a chance to kiss their loved ones in front of the mistletoe camera. Some got lucky to get their 15 seconds of fame. But a pair of ‘couples’ were not too fortunate.

Check out the clip below where the mistletoe cam pointed to an old woman and a young man.

As observed, the old woman was clueless as to what was happening. The young man’s friend, meanwhile, seemed to prod him to obey the mistletoe rules. Before anything transpired, thankfully, the camera panned to the right revealing that the old woman had her husband with him.

It would’ve been a different story if the young man and old woman kissed. But it wouldn’t be seen as something malicious as it’s the holiday season after all.

This is a solid NBA tradition, if we’re being honest. Well, it’s not really a league tradition as much it is a holiday one. Nevertheless, forcing two people to kiss “because them are the rules” is probably a problematic way to operate in life during 2018.
