Zach Hyman will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Sunday.
The Toronto Maple Leafs forward is facing discipline for interference on Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy on Saturday.
The incident occurred at 9:53 of the third period of Boston’s 6-3 win at TD Garden. Hyman received a major penalty for interference and a game misconduct.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: interference. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
