David Seaman takes aim at Arsenal’s transfer policy ahead of Ramsey loss

Ramsey set to join Juventus for free

Aaron Ramsey is set to join Juventus from Arsenal on a free transfer in July once his Arsenal contract expires.

Ramsey will reportedly be earning around £400,000 a week in Italy.

The Welshman has played 361 games for Arsenal across all competitions since making the switch from Cardiff back in 2008.

In those 361 games, Ramsey has scored 62 and assisted 64. Ramsey has also scored three and assisted seven in 30 games this campaign.

He has also helped Arsenal win three FA Cups and two Community Shields.

Seaman on Arsenal’s transfer policy

Despite Ramsey leaving on a free, he has still been a key member of Arsenal’s squad this season.

Ahead of Ramsey’s switch to Turin, England legend David Seaman has taken aim at Arsenal’s transfer policy.

Seaman’s main two issues are with, firstly, Ramsey leaving the club on a free and secondly, the lack of funds said to be available to Unai Emery.

Emery could only make loan signings in the winter window with Denis Suarez his sole purchase.

It is also now being rumoured that Emery will only be given £40m to spend in the summer.

“I’m still fuming that we are going to lose Ramsey.”

“Emery gets one transfer window and is told he can only get loans… then in the second window told he only has £40m to spend!”
