Drexel Dragons – Women’s Tennis Falls to Yale on Saturday Afternoon

NEW HAVEN, CONN. – Drexel women’s tennis closed out its weekend on Saturday afternoon with a 7-0 loss to Yale. With the loss, the Dragons fall to 2-3 overall.

Yale took the doubles point before sweeping singles. Ghita Benhadi and Salma Ziouti, however, played hard fought battles, pushing their opponents to the limit. Ziouti took her opponent to extra points while Benhadi extended the match to a third set after she won the first set.

The Dragons will regroup and return to action when they travel to Seton Hall on Saturday, Feb. 9 for a 1 p.m. match.
