IT’S time for James DeGale vs Chris Eubank Jr. The lightly regarded IBO strap is on the line at the O2 Arena but the stakes are far higher for these super-middleweights. If DeGale loses it would signal the end of his career. A defeat for Eubank would send him on a trajectory he couldn’t bear to acknowledge, relegating him some way beneath world class. They will both be desperate to win.
On the undercard Joe Joyce takes on former world champion Bermane Stiverne for the Commonwealth heavyweight title.
