NBA wrap: Giannis Antetokounmpo powers Bucks to win over Pacers | NBA

Giannis Antetokounmpo is having a historic season for Milwaukee.

The Bucks have won their last two games and have the best record in the Eastern Conference while Antetokounmpo is putting up MVP worthy performances on a nightly basis. His 33 points, 19 rebounds and 11 assists Wednesday led Milwaukee to a 106-97 win over Indiana.

Antetokounmpo became just the third player in NBA history to record at least 25 points, 15 rebounds and five assists in three consecutive games.

Bojan Bogdanovic led the Pacers with 20 points on the night.

Milwaukee improved to 43-14 and will head into the All-Star Break on a high note. The Pacers dropped to 38-20.

Studs of the Night

Pascal Siakam posted a career-high 44 points and 10 rebounds in the Raptors’ 129-120 win over the Wizards.

Otto Porter’s career-high 37 points and 10 points led the Bulls past the Grizzlies, 122-110.

Blake Griffin’s 32 points weren’t enough for Detroit, as the Pistons fell to the Celtics 118-110.

Duds of the Night

Dorian Finney-Smith scored five points on 1-of-7 shooting in the Mavericks’ 112-101 loss to the Heat.

Klay Thompson scored nine points on 2-of-16 shooting as the Warriors fell to the Trail Blazers 129-107. The loss snapped Golden State’s five-game winning streak. 

Highlights

The Knicks might’ve lost to the 76ers, 126-111, but Kevin Knox posterized Ben Simmons, knocking him to the floor.

Marquese Chriss slammed one home on the prolific shot blocker Jarrett Allen as the Cavaliers fell to the Nets 148-139 in triple-overtime.

What’s Next?

Thunder (37-19) at Pelicans (25-33) 8 p.m. ET — New Orleans is coming off an embarrassing loss to the Magic. Star Anthony Davis scored just three points in the 30-point defeat. Oklahoma City is on a four-game winning streak and Russell Westbrook and Paul George are hotter than ever.
