No. 8 Cowgirls Topple Mountaineers, 6-1

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. —Oklahoma State’s eighth-ranked women’s tennis team closed out a successful weekend with its second road win of the weekend, notching a 6-1 win at West Virginia on Sunday.

The Cowgirls improved to 13-5 overall and 4-0 in Big 12 play with the victory.

“It’s never easy to win matches in this league and today West Virginia competed very well,” OSU head coach Chris Young said. “I am proud of how we responded from a slow start in doubles to dominate singles play. We will now focus our preparation for a challenging weekend of matches ahead and look forward to being back at home.”
