Federer successfully defends his Vienna title with a 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 win over Carlos Moya in the final.
Title No. 20, September 2004
The World No. 1 since his Australian Open triumph in February, Federer clinches his first of five straight US Open titles. He reads a news report of his 6-0, 7-6(3), 6-0 win over Lleyton Hewitt as he and future wife Mirka Vavrinec wait for his appearance on the CBS Early Show.

Federer celebrates his third straight Wimbledon title with parents Lynette and Robert Federer at the traditional Champions’ Dinner.
Title No. 40, August 2006
The Swiss celebrates his 25th birthday and later in the week goes on to win his second Rogers Cup title with a comeback win over Richard Gasquet in the final.
Title No. 50, August 2007
Federer becomes the ninth player in the Open Era to reach the 50-titles milestone after defeating James Blake in the Cincinnati final. “It’s not a goal I set myself in my career, but it’s definitely a nice number to get to,” he says.
Title No. 60, July 2009
One year after heartbreak at SW19, Federer prevails against Andy Roddick in a 16-14 fifth set to regain the No. 1 ATP Ranking and become the first man to win 15 Grand Slam titles. He celebrates his new record with Bjorn Borg, Pete Sampras and Rod Laver.
Title No. 70, November 2011
In his 100th tour-level final, a 30-year-old Federer clinches a record sixth title at the season finale with a 6-3, 6-7(6), 6-3 win over Jo-Wilfried Tsonga at The O2. “It’s an amazing feeling. I know it’s one of my greatest accomplishments,” he says.

Now a father of four, Roger Federer celebrates his sixth of seven Cincinnati titles with victory over David Ferrer in the first Masters 1000 final between two players over the age of 30. He waves to the fans from the Champion’s Balcony.

After enduring a six-month injury layoff to end his 2016 campaign, Federer backs up his 2017 Australian Open title by claiming a record-tying fifth Indian Wells trophy. “It’s been just a fairytale week once again,” he says after defeating fellow Swiss Stan Wawrinka in the final.
Title No. 100, March 2019
In his first final since lifting tour-level trophy No. 99 in October 2018 (Basel), Federer defeats Stefanos Tsitsipas to become the second player to win 100 tour-level titles. The Swiss is now just nine victories behind Jimmy Connors, the only other player to accomplish the feat.
