Former Manchester United defender Phil Neville has been discussing Gareth Bale moving to Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are expected to make a large overhaul in the summer and Neville has been suggested potential signings.
The Real Madrid forward has been tipped to leave the Spanish capital this summer with United a possible destination.
Neville on Bale: “You are talking guaranteed quality”
Neville has urged United to move for Bale given his “ready-made” quality and experience at the top level.
Whilst he believes Jadon Sancho would be a great signing, the Welshman would make an immediate impact.
According to Diario AS, Madrid are willing to sell the 29-year-old in the summer.
Neville told Premier League Today:
“Bale’s ready-made. Ole said he wants to buy a hungry player.
“Sancho is that but Bale has won Champions Leagues and played at the top level.
“I don’t think wages are an issue at Manchester United.
“You are talking guaranteed quality who can play across the front line.”
Neville: “The two signings in the back four would be…”
Discussing other signings, the England Women’s manager claims United need to sign two defenders.
Neville added:
“The two signings in the back four would be Raphael Varane from Real Madrid and Joao Cancelo from Juventus.
“Cancelo, I worked with him at Valencia and have seen him at Juventus and I think he’s top drawer.
“Eric Dier as the holding midfield player and Philippe Coutinho, who there has been a bit of speculation about.”
