SECOND Saturday Tennis — March 10.
On the second Saturday of each month, which is this Saturday for the month of March, the club hosts a day focused on encouraging new members or players to the sport.
The format of the tennis is the same as the normal Saturday tennis, with the only differences being it is a very social afternoon with a high turnout of non-members.
Entertainment is provided for young children from 3 pm to 4 pm.
Braai fires are provided after the tennis, with most players staying for the “bring and braai”. Players are encouraged to bring a salad to share.
The event is ideal for people who would like to try playing the game.
Subs for the afternoon are subsidised for non-members at only R25.
All families are welcome to attend a fun afternoon of tennis.
