The former Manchester United striker signed for the MLS side earlier in March and could make his debut against Los Angeles FC on Saturday
Zlatan Ibrahimovic was given a superstar’s welcome as the LA Galaxy signing landed in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Ibrahimovic, 36, signed with the MLS outfit earlier in March after 20 months at Manchester United.
The veteran striker was greeted on arrival by a frenzied crowd as fans and the media gathered in anticipation.
The Galaxy have made a mixed start to the season, with one win, one draw and a loss in their opening three games.
Ibrahimovic’s signing is sure to provide a boost, however, with the former Sweden international having enjoyed a decorated career across Europe.
He has won the Eredivisie, Serie A, La Liga and Ligue 1 during his career, while he helped United win the Europa League and EFL Cup last season.

He fell out of favour at Old Trafford in the 2017-18 campaign, however, with the 36-year-old struggling to fully recover from the ACL injury he picked up in the Europa League win over Anderlecht.
The signing of Romelu Lukaku and, later, Alexis Sanchez did little to help Ibrahimovic as he attempted to force his way back into the first-team set-up, with his final appearance for United coming in a 2-2 draw with Burnley in December.
