Alex Bregman stares at camera after homer

On Friday, the Astros and A’s squared off in Oakland for a key American League West division battle. The A’s have been hot on the Astros’ heels over the past few weeks, so with the game scoreless in the top of the fourth, Alex Bregman sent a message.

Bregman crushed an 0-1 pitch from Edwin Jackson well over the wall in left-center field, 418 feet away. That put the Astros in front, 1-0.

As Bregman celebrated with his teammates in the dugout, he decided to give the camera a staredown as he walked in its direction:

We’re intimidated, that’s for sure.

Clearly, Bregman has been taking lessons from Anthony Rizzo. Or maybe he’s just a big Jim Halpert fan.
