Imagine wanting something with every fiber of your being, but it seems just out of reach. Maybe it’s a $100 bill that just hit the ground in a crowd. Maybe it’s that last slice of pizza in the break room that a co-worker is approaching. Would you give it your all to get it?
One Giants fan understood this predicament. It was batting practice before the team’s 3-0 win on Saturday against the Rockies and a homer was landing near him — but not terribly close.
Simply put, he went for it:

What an effort and what a play.
Based on the improbability of this catch, we can only assume that Joseph Gordon-Levitt helped this fan make the play with a wish similar to the one from Angels in the Outfield.
