Mauricio Pochettino insists that he will not turn his back on Tottenham Hotspur following the club’s string of poor results.
For the first time during his tenure, Pochettino’s Spurs have lost three consecutive matches.
The Argentine understands he will take the lion share of the blame for results but insists he will keep working hard to change his side’s fortunes.
Mauricio Pochettino: “I am going to give my best until the end”
Defeats against Watford, Liverpool and Inter Milan has left Spurs’ season in a precarious position.
Tottenham as a whole appear to be in a state of disarray.
Major ongoing issues include the new stadium, no summer signings and now poor performances.
Pochettino accepts the blame will land with him, however, he is ready to battle to improve results.
Pochettino said:
“I am going to stick with the club, I am not going to criticise the club.
“All the decisions are our decisions and of course always with the club until the end.
“Maybe we are still here in five years or maybe in one week we are not here, but we will always be talking well about the club and helping them to achieve all they want.
“The only way we can stop that (criticism) is winning games and if we don’t win, everyone is going to criticise more than now.
“And you know what is going to happen when we don’t win games – the first responsible is me.
“In football, something can happen with the situation but I am going to give my best until the end.”
