Journal-area girls tennis teams will compete over seven different sectionals and two classes Saturday, Oct. 13 with hopes of making the state finals Thursday, Oct. 18-Saturday, Oct. 20.
Last year, Stevenson shared the Class 2A state championship with Whitney Young, while Fremd (13th), Loyola (22nd), Glenbrook South (34th), Buffalo Grove (53rd), Maine West (53rd), Palatine (53rd) and St. Viator (31st, Class 1A) also competed from the Journal-area.
