UK in the NFL: Week 7

The NFL regular season is well under way. Former Kentucky Wildcats are making their impact on the field across the country. 

There are currently eight former Wildcats on NFL active rosters as well as two players added to the practice squad. The New England Patriots and Eagles met in the Super Bowl last season. The Eagles emerged victorious but neither team produced a Super Bowl winner for Kentucky. Eight players will get back to work this season in hopes of adding a Super Bowl ring to their own personal collection. Linebacker Danny Trevathan won a Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos in 2016.

The list is expected to dramatically increase following the 2019 NFL Draft. Mark Stoops’ squad could produce several NFL Draft selections after the upcoming season including safety Mike Edwards, tight end CJ Conrad, linebacker Josh Allen and running back Benny Snell.
