There’s nothing spookier than watching a stranger take something off your porch. They’re not vampires but porch pirates can suck the fun out of Halloween.
A Fresno woman’s says her house was hit by theft over the weekend and now police are now searching for the man responsible. The guy reportedly stole NASCAR crew pit collector items.
The home owner says the packaged contained one of a kind NASCAR Pit Crew Uniform from 1992 Motor Craft Quality Parts owned by NASCAR Hall of Famer Bud Moore. Two historic original 8×10 photographs from Daytona 1992 when Motorcraft pit crew was the reigning world’s fastest pit crew and performed for President Bush.
It also had d Geoff Bodine Motorcraft racing Ford #15 License Plate. Three Public relations cards of Geoff Bodine one from 1992 and two from 1993 and a 1993 Motorcraft Racing #15 Pit Crew Hat owned by Bud Moore, plus two certificates of authenticity.
The Ring home surveillance video shows a man walking up to her porch, taking the box and driving off. It shows the man wearing a black Fresno State University hoodie and a hat with two white stripes and a red stripe on the sides. Crime reports estimate it appears to be a Deadpool logo or something similar.
Police think he got away in a silver Chevy pickup with an extended cab and chrome wheels. It has a dent in bed behind the driver’s side door.
The woman says its valued somewhere between $1,500 and $2,000 and can’t be sold because of its distinct quality. The home owner is offering a reward for its return. Police are asking if you think you know the person responsible, call Valley Crimstoppers at 559-498-STOP. You may be eligible for a cash reward if your tip leads to an arrest.
