Chelsea vs Everton
Chelsea host Everton in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Blues come into the game after a 1-0 win away at BATE Borisov in the Europa League.
Moreover, Chelsea are second in the Premier League, above Liverpool on goal difference.
Maurizio Sarri has overseen an amazing start to the start in west London. Indeed, Sarri is the first Chelsea manager to avoid defeat in his first 10 games of the season.
But can Everton, who sit ninth in the league, cause an upset?
Everton put in a superb performance last weekend beating Brighton 3-1.
Richarlison was the star of the show for Everton against the Seagulls with a brace.
But the Brazilian striker has been nursing an ankle injury this week which has thrown in participation on Sunday into doubt.
Richarlison injury update before Chelsea
Everton fans have received a modicum of positivity regarding Richarlison’s injury on Saturday night.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the forward has travelled with Marco Silva’s squad to London.
Does that mean Richarlison will be in Everton’s starting XI?
It seems that Evertonians will have to wait until the team sheets come out on Sunday for confirmation on that.
That said, even if Richarlison doesn’t start, the South American should feature on the Everton bench.
