Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry is one of the best players in the NBA, and he’s not a bad golfer either. He plays frequently and even made an appearance on the Web.com Tour. Now, he wants a shot at two of the greatest golfers of all-time.

The two-time NBA MVP took to Twitter on Thursday to challenge Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson to a golf match of their own. Curry’s call for the three-person showdown came after a video was released of Woods critiquing and praising the three-time NBA champion’s golf swing.

“He’s got a beautiful golf swing,” Woods said. “He’s got a great motion. Unbelievable golf swing.” Not so bad to have your golf game applauded by the 14-time major champion.

“I’m looking forward to playing with you,” Woods said at the end of the video. “Taking some cash off you too.”

That was all the five-time All-Star needed to take the bait. And he decided to include Lefty in the fun as well too. “I’m bringing the wallet as long as you’re giving up strokes,” Curry tweeted. “Invite @PhilMickelson too!”

Mickelson also critiqued the golf swing of an NBA star as well: five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant. Lefty has to hear back from the former MVP and 18-time All-Star about his feedback, but I’m sure a four-man group of Tiger, Lefty, Curry, and Kobe would be a must-watch.

But before Curry can square off against Tiger and Lefty, the duo has their own winner-take-all showdown coming up next week in Las Vegas. “The Match” between Woods and Mickelson will take place next Friday following Thanksgiving at 3:00 pm. ET. Shadow Creek Golf Course is where the fun will take place, and $9 million is on the line for the winner. But Tiger and Phil also plan on doing a number of side bets during the round too.

The match, which is not open to the public, will cost viewers $19.99 on pay-per-view. According to Turner, “The Match” will be available on PPV through Turner’s B/R Live, DIRECTV, and AT&T U-verse. The PPV will be also be distributed through other cable, satellite and telco operators in the U.S. and Canada.
