CHICAGO — One week after Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy called defensive lineman Akiem Hicks’ number on the goal line in New York, Chicago used another form of jumbo-sized trickery to extend their third-quarter lead over the Los Angeles Rams.
Facing 3rd-and-goal from the Los Angeles 2-yard line, Nagy had three linemen run on the field and report as eligible receivers.
Bet you didn’t see this one coming. Or maybe you did. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Instead of handing the ball off, Trubisky faked the give to Hicks and rolled to his right where he found backup offensive lineman Bradley Sowell open for a 2-yard touchdown.
So, if you had an offensive tackle scoring the only touchdown so far in this matchup of division-leaders, you’re one heck of a prognosticator.
Trubisky actually attempted a throw to Sowell in the endzone earlier in the year, but the ball was under thrown and intercepted.
