The Green Bay Packers might still have a glimmer of hope of making the playoffs with three games to play, but if the season ended today, the Packers would receive the 12th overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft.
After 13 games, the Packers have an identical record as the Cleveland Browns but a weaker strength of schedule, giving Green Bay the tiebreaker.

The Packers also hold the New Orleans Saints’ first-round pick, but the final 12 spots in the draft order are decided by playoff results. The Saints have already clinched a playoff spot, meaning the pick will be No. 21 or lower.
Last season at this time, the Packers were 7-6 and preparing for the return of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. They lost in Carolina and eventually ended up with the 14th overall pick.
This season, the Packers are 5-7-1 and clinging to life, thanks to a hoard of teams struggling to gain control of the sixth seed in the playoff race.
The Packers beat the Atlanta Falcons but will go back on the road to play the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
What an odd team. The Packers are, by draft order, actually closer to a top-five pick than a playoff spot.
