Touchstone Golf company seeks public’s input about golf course

LAREDO, TX (KGNS) – The new management company taking over the Casa Blanca Golf Course holds a meeting to hear input from the community it will soon serve.

Touchstone Golf Executive Vice President, Doug Harker, says these meetings are something the managing company likes to do.

He tells us, this is the perfect time to hear out community members that use the facilities often.

Harker, says his company will do their best to improve the golf course and are confident that they can make a difference.

They mention they aim to improve customer service, increases marketing efforts, and focus on hosting more events.

Touchstone Golf is the 10th largest golf course management company in the nation, overseeing 37 properties in 10 states.

Starting January 1st, Touchstone Golf will begin working the facility. They will earn $4,250 dollars monthly and have a five-year contract with Webb County.

Last week, County Commissioners, announced that a new company will be taking over the management of the Casa Blanca Golf Course.

The new company, Touchstone Golf is asking the community to come out and voice your concerns about the facility and its state.

The meeting will be held on Monday night from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Casa Blanca Golf Course.
