NBA odds, picks, lines, predictions, best bets for Jan. 15: This three-way parlay pays 6-1

The NBA schedule features six games on Tuesday night, highlighted by Stephen Curry and the Warriors (-1) visiting Denver to face Nicola Jokic and the Nuggets. Plus, it’s a reunion for Jimmy Butler as his 76ers (-6) host his former team, the Timberwolves. Later on, the Bulls go west to do battle with the Lakers (-7). Fans across the nation will be placing wagers, but before making your own NBA picks, you’ll want to see what top handicapper Adam Thompson is saying about Tuesday’s action. Thompson is going huge, putting together a three-team parlay of best bets that could return a massive 6-to-1 payout. If you bet $100, it would return $600. If you go big, it could be a life-changing extravaganza.

Thompson, who enters Tuesday on a sizzling 18-9 run on NBA against the spread picks, was an award-winning sports editor at the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Now as one of SportsLine’s top handicappers, Thompson channels his decades of sports knowledge into picking NBA winners. We’ll give one key part of his Tuesday NBA parlay away. Thompson is backing the Warriors (-1) as road favorites against the mighty Nuggets.

Thompson knows that Denver is 18-3 at home. He’s also aware that Carry is back to an MVP-caliber level after missing virtually all of November with a groin injury.

The Warriors are recuperating at just the right time, having won six of their last seven, while the Nuggets have failed to cover the spread in their last two outings. That’s due in large part to the play of Curry, who poured in 48 points in the team’s 119-114 victory at Dallas on Sunday. Curry was a phenomenal 11-for-19 from three-point range while dishing out five assists and recording two blocks.

Meanwhile, Kevin Durant has been healthy all season and is averaging 28.2 points per contest. He’s also knocking down 39 percent of his shots from beyond the arc, forcing defenders to play up on him while making themselves vulnerable to his quick cuts to the rim. Denver is on a 4-6 against the spread chiller that’s even worse (2-5) against Western Conference foes.

“It’s going to be a heck of a game,” Thompson told SportsLine. “I’m backing Curry and Durant to be the difference-makers at the end, with free throws to seal it.”

Thompson also is jumping on board a team the public has yet to fully embrace, and is fading a team he’s faded all year to massive profits. Find out everything you need to know to complete your parlay selections, over at SportsLine.
