State Water Heaters Joins Burton At JR Motorsports

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – State Water Heaters has joined JR Motorsports as a sponsor for the NASCAR Xfinity Series season.

In the agreement, the team’s No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro will carry the State Water Heaters brand as primary partner in five events during Xfinity Series competition with driver Jeb Burton.

Alsco and Ultimate Headers will serve as associate partners for those same five races with JR Motorsports and Burton.

State Water Heaters has been involved with the Burton family since 2007, partnering with Burton’s father, Ward, in both the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Truck Series as well as the 26-year-old’s NASCAR Truck Series debut in 2012. In addition to their on-track partnership, State Water Heaters has a long relationship with the elder Burton, having supported his wildlife foundation for more than a decade.

“I’m very excited to continue my partnership with State Water Heaters and make the introduction between them and JR Motorsports,” said Burton. “State has been an amazing partner over the years and has become family – helping me from the very start of my career going back to Late Models. With JRM’s family-style environment, the partnership couldn’t be more perfect. I’m looking forward to this season together, adding Alsco and Ultimate Headers, and to getting State their very first victory as a primary sponsor.”

Burton will debut the No. 8 State Water Heaters Chevrolet at Texas Motor Speedway on March 30. The black, orange and blue Camaro will then return at Charlotte Motor Speedway (May 25), Indianapolis Motor Speedway (Sept. 7), Texas Motor Speedway (Nov. 2) and Homestead-Miami Speedway (Nov. 16).

“With ties to racing and the outdoors, the Burton family has always had a natural connection with our State Water Heaters wholesalers and contractors. Because of that connection, Ward and Jeb are great ambassadors for the State brand,” said Jeff Storie, director of marketing for State Water Heaters. “We’re excited that our 2019 partnership will include Jeb and Ward, and also add Dale Jr. along with JR Motorsports to the State family. It will be an exciting element for our customers, as well as for us. We look forward to seeing what Jeb can do on the track in JRM’s Chevys.”

Alsco, which has been building a relationship with Burton since 2016, echoes State Water Heaters remarks.

“After many years of being a Ward Burton fan, it was an easy decision to make, supporting Jeb in the No. 8. Add in JR Motorsports and that’s a trifecta win for Alsco,” said Jim Divers, director of sales and marketing for Alsco. “We look forward to a successful season and continuing to grow our relationship with Jeb and JR Motorsports beyond 2019.”

In addition, Alsco will serve as the official professional linen and uniform workwear rental services partner of JR Motorsports, also supplying hygiene and first aid supplies, floor care and floor mat rentals.
