Brandon Dubinsky injury update: Blue Jackets place center on injured reserve | NHL

The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed center Brandon Dubinksy on injured reserve, the team announced Friday.

The move is retroactive to Feb. 2. Dubinsky, 32, has missed the Blue Jackets’ last four games with a hip injury. He had been considered day-to-day.

In a corresponding move, Columbus added right wing Kole Sherwood to the roster on emergency recall from its AHL affiliate, the Cleveland Monsters.

Dubinsky was playing a career-low 12:43 per game this season. He has five goals and six assists in 37 games.
