What advice do you have for the Giants’ 2019 first-round pick, another high pick who has to follow in your shoes?
“It’s very simple: Coming to New York, everyone is going to say this and say that and put expectations on you. I would say set your own expectations and your own standards. Come in with your head down and ready to work.”

How did you handle the pre-draft team interviews?
“The biggest thing in the Combine process is to be yourself and know your stuff. You are going in there for a football interview, so make sure you know your football. Be yourself with the coaches. They are people, too.”
When you are just going from one interview to the next and only have 15 minutes or less to impress, is that nerve-wracking?
“Yeah, I definitely was nervous. At one point I felt like I was just trying to say the right thing and not the wrong thing and it didn’t let me show my personality 100 percent. Don’t let the nerves get to to you. If you know your stuff and are confident then you can show your personality.”
