The 2019 NFL Combine is almost here. The Washington Redskins will need to watch these receiver prospects closely.

It’s late-February, and that means that the first slow period of the NFL offseason is coming to a close. There was more noise than usual in the time following the Super Bowl, but soon, we’ll be back to actually seeing NFL players on a football field.

Well, these guys aren’t NFL players yet. And they’re just wearing shorts and T-shirts. And it’s not live game action. But it’s something, and it will be interesting at the very least.

The NFL Combine starts up with measurements on Tuesday while group workouts will begin on Thursday. All NFL teams will be interested in getting an up close and personal look at this year’s top prospects, and that will include the Washington Redskins.

The Redskins are facing a critical offseason that will shape their direction for the next handful of seasons. They have questions at quarterback, but they are also dealing with holes at many other positions on the roster. And wide receiver is one of them.

Thankfully, the receiver group in the 2019 NFL Draft is a deep one that the Redskins will likely look to exploit. Here’s a look at three receivers that they should definitely keep a close eye on at the Scouting Combine this year.
